18 January 2022: Print Competition – “The Major Trophy” and “Open”
This competition, judged by Kirsty Ralfs ARPS QGP, was a bit special. New to our programme, the Trophy is dedicated to Major, our Treasurer Steve Roberts’ faithful canine companion. Many members knew the little dog and were saddened when he passed away. The “Major” Trophy is therefore a celebratory competition for print images of domestic pets.

After the break we had the main event. In a fitting decision, Kirsty gave first place to “Jus’ Chillin’”, an image of Major by Steve Roberts. Second was Aliy Fowler with “Watching the World go by “, third place went to “Wash and Brush Up” by Denise Smith.
