Welcome to Herne Bay Photographic Club
Who are we?
We are a group of photographers of all different ages and abilities, who share an enthusiasm for photography. We are a really supportive and friendly club with a membership consisting of just as many ladies as men. Ours is a relatively small organisation and new members are actively encouraged.
What can we offer you?
As a visitor, we can offer you a warm welcome to our club, and invite you to come and see us for two or three meetings before you decide to become a member (and it will only cost you £2.00 a visit). We meet September to May on a Tuesday, 8-10 pm. Whatever your level of experience, we have a fun, varied and interesting programme of events, including talks, tutorial sessions and (voluntary) competitions.
There is something for everybody, plus of course, a break half way through the evening for a tea, coffee, biscuits and a convivial chat!
The old club website (and all of it’s archive material) is still available at http://www.hbphotoclub.co.uk/ and will continue to be for some time.
The Club will be holding an exhibition of members’ work at Herne Bay Baptist Church from Wednesday the 8th to Saturday the 11th of August.
Come along to our summer meet-ups. You can find details on the Programme page.
The subject of this year’s Summer Trophy is “Book Title”. More details on the Competition Info page.
Di Long has come up with a fun list of subjects for the club’s 2018/19 Scavenger Hunt. Full details can be found on the Competition Info page.
