Welcome to Herne Bay Photographic Club
Who are we?
We are a group of photographers of all different ages and abilities, who share an enthusiasm for photography. We are a really supportive and friendly club with a membership consisting of just as many ladies as men. Ours is a relatively small organisation and new members are actively encouraged.
What can we offer you?
As a visitor, we can offer you a warm welcome to our club, and we invite you to come and see us before you decide to become a member (this is currently free). Due to Covid-19, we are currently meeting via Zoom on alternate Tuesdays, 8-10 pm, with outdoor weekend meetings in between the virtual sessions.
Whatever your level of experience, we have a varied and interesting programme of events, including talks, tutorial sessions, and critique evenings, which you are welcome to enter.
The new season
Herne Bay Photographic Club has now reopened with a mixture of Zoom and outdoor meetings.
We also operate virtually:
The Herne Bay, Whitstable and Faversham clubs will be holding a joint exhibition entitled “Connection in Isolation” at the Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable. Provisional dates: 7 October to 1 November.
Scavenger Hunt 2020/21
Di Long has come up with another fun list of subjects for the club’s 2020/21 Scavenger Hunt. Full details can be found on the Competition Info page.
